Profhilo

Profhilo is an award winning treatment specially formulated to improve skin laxity. Profhilo can be used on any lax or crepey skin. • Please inform your clinician if you are breast feeding or may be pregnant as only a select number of treatments are appropriate.


• Do not go on a tanning bed within 2 weeks of treatment. Sun bed use is not recommended when receiving Peels treatments due to the increased risk of skin cancer, accelerated ageing and pigmentation of skin.


• Extended sun exposure should be avoided, especially 10 days before your treatment.


• It is recommended to delay use of Retin-A, EpiDuo, Retinol and high strength alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) products for approximately 5 days before treatment.

• After receiving a PCA Skin professional treatment you can expect to get some light skin flaking (“down-time”) in localised areas for 3 to 5 days and some residual redness for 1 to 12 hours post-procedure. You may not “peel”- this does not mean the treatment isn’t working.


• Avoid applying makeup post treatment to allow skin to settle overnight. However if necessary, makeup may be applied 15 minutes after treatment.


• Keep skin well moisturised using the products your practitioner has given you. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen (UVA and UVB).


• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks post procedure. No sun beds.


• Do not pick or pull on loose or peeling skin as this may cause hyperpigmentation


• Do not have electrolysis, facial waxing or use hair removing creams for 5 days post treatment.
